OK...so I turned 40. Big whup. maybe.
I really grieved as it happened.
I don't know why...but I've spent my entire life dreading the moment that it would happen. So, as it occurred...I dreaded it. Then all the wise ones who have gone before me said things like..."It only gets better" and "Embrace your Maturity".
So, I made a decision to Embrace it...and look forward to the better things that are yet to come....and I haven't been too disappointed yet!

Hey--we need to start a post somewhere with a thread about the cruise, and all the things we're gonna do on it!
ReplyDeleteI want to eat breakfast with you a couple of times. Not too many. I know you'll want to sleep in. What's that? You're over 40 and can't sleep past 6? Well I'll try to get up early to watch the sunrise with you.
